GLP-1 Cost Calculator: Medication and Doctor Fees Without Insurance

Prepared by the team at Adonis Saremi, MDMedical review pendingPrices last verified October 28, 2026

Without insurance, a GLP-1 costs you two separate things: the medication, at the maker’s self-pay price or a pharmacy’s, and your doctor’s care. The makers’ self-pay prices we last verified on October 28, 2026 run from $149 to $449 a fill, depending on the medicine and dose. With Dr. Saremi, care on the Essential plan is $249 per calendar month, and the medication is not included, so medication plus care is a separate sum you can work out below. Labs are included in both plans. Scans, supplies and shipping aren’t included in these figures.

Prices are the makers’ own self-pay offers, read from their official pages. A price shows here only while we have checked it within the last 14 days and its offer hasn’t ended. Medication is bought from the maker or pharmacy, not from the practice.

How the numbers are worked out

  • The medication price is the maker’s published self-pay price for that dose, with the supply it covers.
  • The monthly figure is an average for budgeting: price × 365 ÷ supply days ÷ 12. A price the maker sets per calendar month is used as it is.
  • An introductory price is shown on its own and never stretched into an ongoing monthly budget.
  • Care with Dr. Saremi on the Essential plan is added as a separate line. Labs are included in both plans. The subtotal leaves out scans, supplies, shipping and anything we couldn’t confirm.
  • A price shows only while we’ve checked it on the maker’s own page within the last 14 days and its offer hasn’t ended.
  • What you choose and type in the calculator stays in your browser. No email, no account, nothing saved.

Common questions

Is the medication included in the membership?

No. Membership covers your visits and messaging with Dr. Saremi, and labs are included in both plans. The medication is bought separately, from the maker's self-pay program or a pharmacy, and scans are billed separately when you need them.

Why is the monthly figure different from the price I pay?

A 28-day fill comes 13 times a year, so about once a year a calendar month has two fills. The monthly figure spreads the cost over a year: price × 365 ÷ supply days ÷ 12. It's for budgeting; the pharmacy charges the fill price.

Why don't you show a price for some medicines or doses?

We only show a price we've confirmed on the maker's own page in the last 14 days, and never one whose offer has ended. Where we can't, we link to the maker and you can enter the price your pharmacy quoted.

Does this check my insurance or whether I qualify for a discount?

No. It shows the makers' published self-pay prices and their conditions, and it can't tell whether you meet them. It doesn't look at insurance at all.

Can I pay with an HSA or FSA card?

HSA/FSA cards accepted. Whether a given cost counts as an eligible expense depends on IRS rules and your plan, so check with your plan administrator; we don't decide that, and this page doesn't promise it.
